I look anywhere but the screen when an ad is playing. Yolo Edit: this probably violates YouTube T.O.S., very risky

Not a gen Z but I’m actually a fan of both of those words. It’s like a forceful put or get.

I went and built a NAS then installed Proxmox on it to then create a VM for TrueNAS in which i then created a docker for Nextclound. Then I installed Arch on a different VM and used Nextcloud sync so I can have access to my files on my laptop that also runs Arch. Humblebrag over, I apologize for trying to relate to a windows user.

Time to take out a second mortgage and pour out a tiny thimble of printer ink.
So NixOS is like freebasing Arch, got it. I’m still tempted to spin up a VM, just a taste…

Also, at the end of the night the managers would lock the doors and make us clock out and clean the store. I didn’t know about wage theft back then, but I did know what they were doing was wrong.
THIS. IS. MY. LAST. RESORT.

I’ve seen that movie. But seriously, this company is clearly bullshit. It’s like 2025 Theranos.
The face of James Earl Jones! Jk, that is a fun fact I’m stealing for next time I watch a clockwork orange

bulwark@lemmy.worldtoHacker News@lemmy.bestiver.se•Jellyfin: The Free Software Media SystemEnglish1·5 months agoFunny you should mention that, I just installed the stremio combo webui/server docker last night. After I got it hooked up to real debride it works surprisingly well. I do have a dedicated GPU. I was looking for something like Kodi in a webui, but I wanted to use debride and I found this app.
I’m now trying to shoehorn in IPTV and an EPG just to see if I can
I remember our stupid prank back in the day was to take a screenshot of your desktop, make it your background and delete all your icons.

Agreed, Exxon is a horrible company but I hear the pay is good. It would be tough for an ex-con to get a job as well.
So you’re saying he invented the electric car right? jk. Edison, probably would have creamed his pants for an opportunity to create a government position to eliminate his competitors.
Oh, I got you. I’m more of a Brave browser behind a pi-hole with local unbound dns kinda guy. I know Brave is sketchy but it’s just so much better than any other options I have tried. All that to say, that when an add sneaks by my defenses, it’s kinda impressive in the most annoying way possible.
Now if someone could invent ad skip for in video content from a youtuber, that seems a little more on the morally gray side of the fence.
