This is my viewpoint as well.
From immediate memory I feel Mass Effect, and Ratchet and Clank, fit this category.
Both are still very fun despite the fact.
I haven’t played Eldin Ring, but if it’s story driven, I would 100% support an easy mode for those that want the story and not a time sink.
I love that Nine Sols includes the option, although I haven’t personally used it.
What drives me nuts about this subject is rarely spoken about.
No single company can properly compensate all of their users for the damages caused by mishandling their personal data.
In fact the damages may even be too great for the government to properly compensate said users.

Not the broad 20k forgiveness for all borrowers.
