The issue for me is that, let’s say that one day a magical device does allow time travel, it would also have to do teleportation relative to some point since everything is in motion. What would all of time and space use for a relative location? Can’t be the earth or sun since those are moving. Even our galactic cluster is moving. So if you went back in time a year, the earth wouldn’t be at the same point in space even though it’s done a full revolution. I’m no space scientist but I don’t imagine we have a solution.

I’ve had an Apple Watch 5 since it came out and I see no reason to upgrade. The only thing I really dislike is the battery life but to fix that you’d need to get a Garmin or similar. So can’t think of a reason I would upgrade.

I wonder what happens to Google without the advertising monopoly. They kill off everything else they build so realistically they are just an ad company at this point which offers a declining search engine. While they won’t be dethroned anytime soon in search, they keep making it worse so I have to imagine it won’t be gaining users. If they did break it out, maybe that will improve search.

As an artist on the streaming platforms, I don’t just distribute music to one, it gets sent out to all. I put the most effort into growing my Apple and Amazon music streams as they actually pay. Spotify gives me by far the most streams but they don’t pay shit so I just don’t put much effort into that. YouTube seems to pay pretty well for music streaming, even got some royalties from TikTok even though I didn’t realize I was on there. I heard Tidal and Deezer pay well but I don’t have listeners there so not much I can do with that.

As an American, I would recommend that folk reconsider travel to the US during the current administration. There are no longer checks and balances and it’s a very dangerous place at the moment. They’re removing all accountability for the border patrol and any immigration adjacent services so they can now do whatever they want. You’re at the complete mercy of the immigration service and they have full latitude to do whatever they want (legal or illegal) as the threat of repercussions have been removed. Be safe out there.

Bro this ain’t the 1800s, we’re obviously using LED light strips for that now. The downside is that a single section goes dark and we lose mapping data for the entire northeast. Totally worth it though when they turn on the strobe effect.

To me, the weirdest one was Johnny Depp as a Native American. Like I couldn’t wrap my head around it in the movie. I kept thinking the plot was that he was a delusional person who believed he was Native American.

I stopped there on a cross country drive like 20 years ago and it sucked but not because of any weird immigration claims…just because there was nothing really going on. I imagine it’s still pretty boring today but maybe some immigration can put some life into the town.

I’m of the opinion that it’s just to improve the perception of package quality. I don’t see those cheap plastic pieces as keeping the prongs from accidentally warping or bending but I guess they could keep moisture away. I’ve never received a corroded set of prongs before their use though so my theory stands as they are upping the packaging visual aesthetics.

With Russia using chem weapons, the allied countries need to drop limitations on the use of weapons by Ukraine and increase weapons shipments. That will send a clear signal that this shit won’t be tolerated.
