Boycotting US stuff
Yeah seems like that’s indeed the goal of the US administration.
Apple TV+ is a great service, good app interface and some decent series there too. Too bad I had to get rid of it due to the current US administration and their policies. Apart from the default apps I switched everything to European and/or non-profit open source alternatives, which was surprisingly easy.
That’s not an unbelievable number at all. Russia has a massive population and if you look at the numbers these are peace time numbers for most countries. For example, Finland’s army turns from 25-30k during peace to 900k during the war through our large reserves.
Feels almost unbelievable to hear that there still are people and companies standing up for their values and principles even in the face of losing profits or comfort. I thought that true western values had finally died and we were collapsing but this give a tiny sliver of hope at least.
I don’t get why every Reddit alternative needs to be filled with these weird political ideas. Communism, Fascism and every other form of extremism only leads to misery.
I’m sure capitalism is flawed, but you can make it work better. Any of the Nordic countries works as a great example. And no they aren’t perfect but nothing ever will be.
