The pattern I noticed with Maga fans, is they all bought what he was selling: fuvk those other people. Maybe it is refugees and immigrates, LGBT, peaceful protesters, women. So much for society, vote for greed and self interest.

And they voted in support, so it seems like karma to me.

Yeah, people feel threatened by any behavior that doesn’t conform to their norms. I practice apathy towards their attitudes, and keep an eye out for violence.

The benefit is that by being standardized, there will be less proprietary cords and adapters. And the capability of USB-C should be adequate for sometime with the power and data transfer.

One issue, is that not all USBC cords are of the same quality. I found this recently when trying to find a cord that can be used for an external SSD, and video for a monitor. Some cords worked, the rest did not. All the cords could be used for charging, but after that, all bets are off.

There is no reason they should have thrived during the pandemic, they should have been taking a hit just like the customers. If they were taking increased profits, then it’s because they were screwing over customers during a challenging time.

Any auto maker that focuses on practical/efficient/affordable will benefit in the long run, and the fact that another country is more focused on that, makes the real threat of competition.

There are countless cases from Florida that don’t honor constitutional rights or due process. When people fear how badly things may turn, look at where Florida is now, and watch to see how many other states follow.
