6·2 months agoWhy are Anglo-Saxon ‘conservative’ governments hell-bent on punishing the poor to the fullest extent. They no longer hide the strategy that cruelty is the point! And the general public seems to like it, and votes for it in ever greater numbers, until it happens to themselves, of course.
Can someone explain this to a person who grew up in a Rhineland model based society that is now fast adopting the Anglo Saxon model (the Netherlands).
161·2 months agoBernie is what we in Europe would call in the 1980s a social democrat. Definitely the sort of politician you’d like to have if you’re trying to keep the fabric of your society in one piece.
With hate high on the menu these days, I’m pretty sure that when given a real chance in 2015, he would have beaten Donold.
It would be hilarious to see this regime shooting itself in both feet before shooting itself in the head, if this weren’t some route to a full-blown ‘eMerGENcy’ which they can then use to deactivate democracy all together.
5·2 months agoIn Germany they actually did try hydrogen trains. And some of the might still be running. But they decided a few years back that it’s just that; a wet dream. And they will no longer invest in them, it just doesn’t make sense.

I’m at the point where serious media should just put all the lies and empty promises of this regime in a single section, titled ‘From Trump world’. And use the serious sections to dissect the lies and analyse (IN SIMPLE TERMS) what’s really going on.
That’s quite easy to explain; they are mostly sexually frustrated after all.
The best thing one can do on YouTube (alas, I’m a Premium subscriber I must admit), is TURNING OFF VIEWING HISTORY.
I cannot emphasise this enough, please show your parents, your children or cousins how to turn it off. It makes your viewing experience so much better.

115·1 year agoWill probably get flamed to death for this, but… a few months ago I’ve decided to try Ubuntu on an older Intel MacBook Pro, just to try it out after many attempts in the past. (Mac user here)
Then I tried to use the trackpad. After 30 minutes of fiddling I gave up. Say what you want about Apple’s UX choices, esthetics and business practices. But boy do they know how to produce a computer and UX combo that fits like a glove.
In comparison, the Ubuntu experience was like eating nails.
And before y’all go off; I would like to switch. I’m getting tired of Apple’s business practices.
