  • So I think I see what your interpretation is now. The meme is trying to point out that American liberals are more concerned about respectability and appearances rather than not doing racist things. The Democrats have no problems bombing foreign children. What they don’t like is openly admitting that the government is doing it for racist reasons. But the leftist perspective is that it doesn’t if the government is doing war crimes in a “tasteful” manner since the end result is the same to those being killed.

The point is that Trump isn’t doing anything different than Obama, Biden, or GWB did, he is just openly admitting that he is doing it for racist reasons. Liberals had no issue with bombing Yemen when Obama was doing it, or with aiding Israel do genocide on Palestine, they only took umbridge with it once the government openly stated they were doing it for racist reasons.

  • Most manufacturing does not need to be done at the same level of precision or cleanliness that advanced electronic components require though. I used to work at a small injection molding factory making storage totes and we had ONE press that could automatically put stickers on a large tote. Every other press required the operator to put the sticker in by hand while they inspected for issues with the product.

And I’m not saying that all automation is useless, as most food packaging plants are fairly well automated with operators just ensuring that everything goes correctly, but it will never be viable to replace those workers with a robot since they will never be able to adapt to a sudden change like a human can.

  • I have a collection of old Hungarian records my buddies found at a goodwill in rural Ohio. Some real bangers in there but they all had a sticker saying "From the collection of the most Hungarian name I have ever seen so I looked the guy up and found his obituary. He was born about a week before the siege if Budapest, and then his family fled to the US during the Hungarian uprising. His obituary was wild to read and it looked like he donated all his records before moving into a nursing home. But I love looking up the names on my record collection to see what I can learn about the journey the objects have been on. It makes me feel like I should start putting my name on all of my physical media as well to keep the journey going
