My dog isn’t too derpy so she doesn’t do that sort of stuff often but I always remember one goofy moment. We were walking along and she was doing her thing, sniffing all the great sniffs to be had. We were walking on concrete when she stopped to sniff something, all I could see was a small dark stain on the concrete but she was super into it. In one motion, she went to roll in it but must’ve realized too late that it was just concrete and did a full somersault, ass over her head, the whole thing. She popped up with a very confused look on her face for a few seconds while I stood there cackling to myself.

I wouldn’t want to be the one to have to intubate those animals.

Why not both? You can protest and organize at the same time. In fact it’s there are usually better outcomes when both happen simultaneously.

Truth, Jesuits definitely have their skeletons in the closet when it comes to imperialism/colonialism/slavery but the modern Jesuits are one of the few religious sects I don’t mind.

I was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school but the Jesuits were very influential in my community. I actually came out with a world view shaped by knowledge, understanding, and empathy. The exact opposite of the modern evangelical culture in the US. Maybe I just go lucky and we had the few good Catholics in charge of our church community but I usually contribute it to the Jesuits.

Hedge funds are paying top dollar

This seems to be the bigger red flag to me.

My girl friend works for FEMA and has been telling me that the private sector, i.e. hedge funds and government contractors are suddenly trying to hire people like her and offering 30% more than she makes now.

I bring this up because the oligarch plan now seems to be to drive out the people in government and replace them with private contractors and corporations. So basically we will be paying more for shittier service.

I know it’s the buzz word right now but it’s enshitification of the government. Drive all the competent people out, claim that government does work, replace the competent people with people who work for your buddy’s business and then your buddy gets richer while providing shittier service.

Let people enjoy things, just ignore it if you don’t like it. Who cares, as long as it isn’t hurting anyone.

I may be wrong but I believe dish soap is an alkaline/base and I know vinegar is acidic. If you mix the two, they are going to neutralize each other. I’d try just the vinegar and some hot water, that’s I use to clean water scale build ups.
