I like my Pad Thai spicy.
I usually get a 4 out of 5. I was getting a 1.
I once had to leave a negative review at the Thai place I go for lunch pretty regularly, because they got a new hostess and she kept trying to save me from my hubris multiple weeks in a row.
The owners finally had a conversation with her and now I get my Pad Thai at the appropriate spice level. I edited the review to 5 stars afterwords.

The end of february and early march here in the midwest was similarly brutal.
My local ski hill was poised to have a banner March, they had stockpiled an incredible amount of snow after a great year of natural snow. Nearly 2 times the average amount.
But the last week of february and first week of march was blowtorch weather. Rain and overnight lows higher than average highs. Daytime highs nearly 30° above normal.
It ended up closing its regular closing day.
But what killed me most was the regular people talking about how great it was it was 74° (30 above average) in March. Because it was 20° (10 below average) in February. I had to point out 30 above average in August is 112° before they lost thier sense of giddyness. Its going to be 84 on Sunday, which is 2° away from peak average summer temps. This summer is going to kill swathes of people.

Sam Altman is what happens if Seymour Krelborn never turned on Audrey II.
I think minnesota could probably get him on some form of Dereliction of Duty/RICO and throw in felony murder.

Fucking Jar Jar Binks
I once tried making a similar argument to a game warden about only hunting deer during the day. They were not appreciative of the take.
This was after I hit a deer with my car while driving home from Thanksgiving, it was not a good time.

I would prefer public transport, but if I have to get a car.
I would want a station wagon that sits a normal height off the ground, not an SUV. I would like a volt style hybrid, saves a ton on battery weight and covers more than 95% of my driving on a single electric charge, while still allowing for longer drives without the extended wait times at charging stations.
That’s something different, chestnut blight attacks the inner bark layer on the trunk and girdles the tree, killing everything above that point on the trunk.
Something is wrong with that die. I have no idea what he rolled, and all the numbers are on the wrong face. 1 should be opposite of 20, not adjacent.

My question was rhetorical. It was meant to highlight how cowardly they are and really drive home unlikely they are to flip on Trump.

Democrats, independants, and anyone else who stands up to Trump already face death threats, and yet they keep doing it.
Why are republicans such chicken shits? Also, it’s laughable to think that there’s a low they won’t tolerate.

You have to get a low bush variety, theres half-hybrids that get 3-4 ft tall, and High bushes that get 6-12 ft tall.
The acidic soil requirements are pretty stringent (PH 4.5-5.5), so I avoid watering with tap water (most tap water is alkaline), and I would test your soil before planting.

Low bush blueberries could do well there, unless its super steep. They stay low, only get about a foot tall and wide. They have great white flowers in the spring, blue-green foilage in the summer, plus edible fruit native birds love, and gorgeous fall color.
They do like acidic soil, so mulch with pine needles/wood.

I’ve been thinking “Dancing in the Street”

Turns out it is Hate not Heritage.
Depends on where you are, how big your yard is.
If the maples are sugar maples I would deeply ask you reconsider ripping them out as they don’t tolerate road polution in urban areas.
I only have 2 trees. So I was hoping to boost my yields in a way that doesnt mean hand pollination or hanging a carcass (which I havent seen any hard evidence works, just some anecdotes).
And I thought if I could propose my idea to others and get them to try it, I might have some alternative methods that are less labor intensive options by the time my trees are ready to bear fruit.
I plan on doing the carrion-flower bed as I think its pretty cool but it might be an easier sell to my gf if it is a proven way to boost fertilazation, on the pawpaws.
While neat, I am concerned about this pushing out native trees species. North America has experienced numerous ecological disasters due to non-native Flora and Fauna spreading outside thier normal ranges. Most transcontinental.
