This is a very interesting topic. I can possibly respond more later. Wilhem Reich did theorize about this and proposed that the family is actually the origin of fascistic impulses. Reich’s work has been used um…creatively to say the least… (People tend to go “Oh, other that sex weather control guy who thinks it is healthy to have orgasms. Let me give him lip service in my neo tantra book!” Some of his political writings were actually really good.
There has to be more theorists and ideas about this but I’m drawing a blank atm. Like feminist theory has to have something extensive on this.
