That’s no moon star!

Banning cars and planes will help a bit, but it’s really everything. Concrete emits carbon dioxide. Raising animals emits carbon dioxide. Moving goods around emits carbon dioxide. And so on…
But in principle you are right that we don’t need genocide!

Aviation is about 2.5% of global emissions.
In the long run then yes, we need carbon neutral fuels, but it should be possible for people to fly a little and not destroy the planet.
The now-extinct giant sloth, for example.
It’s just whether you want it there or not.
A rose bush in a corn field is a weed!

Nature isn’t open access right? So we can’t know why…
Neither of the buttons says “original resolution”.

Does China have gas and oil? I thought that they imported it all?

They seem pretty cheap in the Netherlands, at least from Ikea:

I guess that induction could be cheaper, but the cooking experience is really terrible. I think for a few hundred Euros it would never be worth it. 🤔

Written like someone who lives in a sunny place… 😉

Yeah a lot more work needs to be done for all energy.
The trends are the same, I think, but a few decades behind.

Most people are really interesting if you get to know them.
I definitely don’t understand most people, but that doesn’t mean I dislike them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In the late Middle Ages some scholars argued that there could not be humans in the southern hemisphere… a.k.a. antipodes
The idea was that it gets hotter and hotter as you go further south. Eventually it would get too hot for people to survive, certainly at the equator. So you can’t cross to the temperate parts of the southern hemisphere.
The Bible doesn’t mention creating any other people on the other side of the planet, and none can get there from the northern hemisphere, so therefore they must not exist. Q.E.D.
