The plastic and other bullshit the FDA allows in our food is definitely why colon cancer rates are skyrocketing in the US as well. Ask anyone who has spent extended time in Europe how their digestion differed when there versus the US. Almost everyone has a hard time adjusting to our diet because it’s so shitty and toxic. The idea that most other countries are either extremely strange or extremely poverty-stricken is definitely a very intentional form of propaganda we get fed in the US. People are shocked when I tell them they can get cheaper, safer, better medical care in Mexico pretty often. It was reviewed by an ethics board, but they changed the parameters of their study (shifting more towards using personal info against commenters/making up personal info to use in arguments) without it being approved by the ethics board. Essentially their study wasn’t going anywhere so they made it more unethical in order to have more data to work with. They’re on Reddit trying to defend themselves but no one is having it

A lot of us with conservative families would prefer not to be lumped in with them, not everyone follows their parents footsteps, especially with conservative ones.
