(the video is a bit clickbaity at the beginning but makes really good overview of the problem)
Title is dumb, the article itself is fine
It found that metered-dose inhalers were the most harmful to the environment, accounting for 98% of emissions over the 10-year period. Metered-dose inhalers contain hydrofluoroalkane (HFA) propellants, which are potent greenhouse gases that were widely used in products such as aerosol sprays.
“On the upside, there is a tremendous opportunity to make changes that protect both patients and the planet by utilizing lower-emission alternatives.”
“A key first step to driving change is understanding the true scale of the problem,” Feldman said. “From there, we can identify what’s fueling these emissions and develop targeted strategies to reduce them—benefiting both patients and the environment.”
Did the same thing with the same result 🤷♀️ Without examples this just kinda looks like pearl clutching
an ally hater, love to see it
Love the anarchist approach, not so much the other one. IMHO intolerant speech should be punished by social ostracizing, not legal consequences. I just won’t trust any government with the power of censorship.
Democracy, as in the idea that political power can only come from the people and only equally, is just not popular anymore and its kinda tragic. As an anti-authoritarian this is the hill I will die on, but it doesn’t have as many people as I’d like. it’s a cool-ass hill.
Person on the left is calculating every move and winning battles so the other one can be a careless goober (also they’re dating)
Mini one won’t do. I need a version with a separate power line you have to manually wire into your grid, and when you flip it on the entire district suffers a black out
Being an ad-driven company annihilated old google. Instead of developing precise and efficient tools (like they used to) all effort goes to convincing users to care about random crap, because the crapmaker is paying up.
As a programmer who enjoys a beautiful solution to a hard problem, this irks me every time I’m forced to interface with google.
Transgender scientist Friedrich Nietzsche invented a time machine and went back to 19th century to kill god. And I love it for him.
Lucky, mine always have deforestation caused by unsustainable practices of cocoa industry and child labor 😒
The books have crazy good lore and very unique ideas in the terms of society, culture, politics and religion. Even tho they’ve been written in the 50s or something. Not a light read, but if you wanna ponder some stuff it has stuff to ponder. Also great for reading in bed cause it will put you to sleep 😌
The movies are also good (and so frigging pretty) but its hard to squeeze all that into couple hours. Enjoy either way <3
I heard their friend liked a philosophytube video in 2017
“The target of the [war against AI] was a machine-attitude as much as the machines. Humans had set those machines to usurp our sense of beauty, our necessary selfdom out of which we make living judgments.”
Dune was ahead of its time
If you don’t make your metrics reliant on spyware, they won’t be affected by me blocking your spyware. But thats not a trick they teach at google university.
Saaame, but without those years I wouldn’t figure myself out. Mistakes are a price of progress (at least for my dumb ass 🙃)
Dreading when USA Thalidomide moment comes
could’ve guessed about Elysium from the wallpaper ^^
