Consumer Protections Set by Steam

I’m a PC gamer who games primarily via Steam, but this is just not true. Steam really only protects the consumer when forced by a regulatory body. For example, Steam used to have a No Refunds policy until the EU forced them to have the 2 hours/2 weeks policy they have now.

Really, we should be thanking consumer watchdogs and regulatory bodies.

Cops and ICE are just going to use this to surveil citizens unjustly (arguably against their 4th amendment right).

Oh for sure. I just like OpenSUSE enough to switch GPUs for. I only really run older games aside from Baldur’s Gate III and Cyberpunk, so I really don’t need the latest and greatest.

I forgot how terrible Windows actually is

Windows, while always shitty, has seriously gone downhill in the past 5 years. I’m looking to switch back to Linux myself, but I have an NVidia GPU that needs constant driver babying on OpenSUSE (my preferred distro). My current plan is to find someone who is willing to swap a RTX 4070 for a equivalent or slightly worse AMD card, and then switch back to OpenSUSE.

I’ve been rated between 1200-1300 for 5 years now with no indication of any upward trend despite hiring a chess coach and studying. There’s just no helping some of us!

Could be a good thing or a bad thing for you; Witch King is very, very different from the Murderbot series. I see a lot of people liking one and hating the other (in both directions), and not a lot of people liking both.

My advice would be to have your expectations set like it was a completely different author.
