Apparently there is a tunnelweb spider in New Zealand. I’m guessing this was a spelling mistake though.

You know what I love about Lemmy? If you block someone, you legitimately just don’t see their comments.
Finding these in your lunch, you just knew it was going to be a good day.
Sigh…Antiflag. as a band that stood so strongly for pro-feminism, anti-racism, anti-corporate, just progressive politics to the max, having that news come out about Justin Sane being a complete fucking creep really shatters the music and the message.
This is so, so pertinent. Strap in, it’s a wild ride.
Screw that, I’ll listen to Nofx until I die.
“stuck in the middle with you”
While I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, holy FUCK, you need to learn how to break up your thoughts with a period. You have 5 paragraphs and 6 periods.
So wait, let me get this straight, people shouldn’t install Linux to avoid windows because they might make edge somehow critical to the use of major websites? Why not just use Linux anyways since that’s not happening anytime soon (especially not with the market share Chrome and Firefox have)
I’m here in Alberta, Canada and we are also using enormous amounts of coal and natural gas for electricity despite having almost perfect conditions for solar and wind generation. Funny that.
Listen I’m not huge fan of China but credit where credit is due, they are kicking ass at transitioning to renewables, subway and highspeed rail and EVs.
Yeah Bahn Mi isn’t really Vietnamese since it uses French baguette, Tacos aren’t Mexican since they use European meats and cheeses not available to Native Americans, Thai chilie is from North America, etc. Fuck outta here.
The nice part about Usenet is it’s basically full saturation of your internet line, so if you have a gigabit line, it will come as close as possible to running downloads at that speed. Frugal Usenet is $60 for their annual account, in my opinion it’s worth it just for speed alone. I pay for Usenet ninja as well as a secondary account for failed downloads.
The setup can be a bit overwhelming but please message me if you get stuck on anything!
Best place to start if you’re serious. https://trash-guides.info/
Frugal Usenet is a good cheap and reliable option for Usenet downloading or search out some torrent trackers of your preference. If you go the Usenet route, let me know, I can send you some indexer invites.
I’ve run most of the arr apps on windows but Linux with docker is less upkeep and easier to perform updates.
As someone who hikes the Canadian Rockies on the regular, I can tell you statistically I’ve walked by thousands of people on the trails and maybe 3 grizzlies. The grizzlies were far more likely to attack but due to distance and spotting them early to avoid there was no issue.
I mean, I’m doing just fine but thanks.
As the internet ancients used to say… Cool story bro
