1 year agoI could see someone trying to sell ads on their instance. But ya I can’t imagine many people would join unless they had some other features that are better than other instances.

Seems like the 4 apps I use all have the same issue though which makes me wonder if it’s something in Lemmy causing the issue (not the apps).
