I wonder how they would react if you straight up called them modern-day nazis. I feel like that would strike a nerve.

The saddest part is that you could probably fit another dozen signs in this pic, and it still wouldn’t be all of them.
That’s interesting. I knew it caused appetite suppression, but i didn’t realize it dulls other areas as well.
I think the point of doing this first is not about getting fame, but to be ready for it. Once you are famous someone can claim the domain you wanted and hold it hostage so by doing this you don’t have to deal with that later on.
That may be federal, but some states (and i do mean some) have something called FMLA provided by the state. The one I am in guaranteed you 8 weeks and I believe it was just raised to 12 weeks. Granted it’s not great because it’s a lot of paperwork, you don’t get paid right away, you won’t make what you did if you were working, and not all the weeks are payable! But you are allowed this if you want it and your job can’t fire you. If your job is good enough, which normally they are, you can combine the state time off with your jobs time off to add on an extra month or 2. My wife’s a teacher so she did this and used all the sick time and vacation time she had saved over the years to take an extra few months on top of FMLA so she was able to have our kid in December and take the rest of the school year off from January to June then get summer break and return in sept. So still not a year, but 9 months wasn’t bad either. I on the other hand got 2 weeks and our 2nd kid I took 3 weeks of vacation. Sadly everyone’s experience is different and you won’t know what you will have because it’s up to the state and job which is stressful on its own. Most places from what I have seen with friends are not trying to screw you, but I would say the average I’ve seen people take is 1 month.
Edit: so I just looked and since it’s been a few years since I have last needed it i haven’t followed it. Looks like FMLA has spread to more states and looks like about 12 (mostly blue states of course) now have this at the state level. https://onpay.com/insights/paid-family-leave-by-state/
They probably mean 30 min worth of prep. The oven part is hands off and whatever to them.
It’s to spray your neighbor when he decides to pick the urinal right next to yours when there were 3 others not next to you. Then it just turns into a silly water fight, and everyone has a blast.
Everything about this is incredible.
Weird, I just had to do this with $65 and ended up getting it to $62 as the total. For a family of 4 for 4 days. It was hard and not the best options, but it worked.
Not OP, but I could pay off a good part of the crippling debt I have that’s keeping me from saving 2x as much as I spend on paying it off. I have nothing at the moment and am barely surviving paycheck to paycheck and it’s just hard… having some freedom now that I’m finally organized would he nice again. Working all the time and not having a dime to do anything all the time is a sad and stressful life.
At this time I won’t be out of this until the end of 2026.
Never played the gears games except for the last one a little because I had gamepass and a PC. It was ok, but it just felt like a room after room of bullet sponge enemies, which got old fast. It will be very weird playing gears on a ps5, probably a lot like when Sonic dropped on Nintendo for the first time.
Yes, it improved on every aspect of the ps4. Load times were non-existent, graphics upgrade was good enough, the exclusives were always great. I like a dedicated box for gaming, not that I don’t play pc games as well, it’s just easier to pick up and go on a console especiallywith rest mode…
I got it a few months after it released, which is how long it took to find one, and at the time i was deciding between building a new PC or getting a PS5 and at the time the PS5 was way cheaper due to GPUs being ridiculously priced. I thought it was a great price for what you got and it’s a solid system. I use it on average once every other day and has given me no issues.
It was a solid console in every aspect to me. My one complaint is as much as I like the controllers they suffer from stick drift and I have gone through 4 controllers so far. Same goes for every one of my friends so it’s awful.
I know it tracks with the release of other consoles, but wow, did this one go fast… I feel like it’s barely been out, but over 6 years have passed and it will be 7 when it releases. I honestly have no idea how they can even improve much from what currently exists anyway. Almost everything I wanted was addressed in the PS5. Guess we’ll see.
But at the very least we can see that the same developers who worked at Ubisoft are better than they are allowed to be. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 deserves the same love that this got and features mostly Ubisoft employees (only 30 people in total) and shows the company truly hinders how good a game can be.
As someone who has been on an on call rotation plus randomly called for things specifically revolving around things I manage at work for 19 years now, i am jealous of being allowed the sense of freedom from the phone. My wife thinks I’m nuts, but she will never get this feeling… I hope one day to have a better job that isn’t working for a place that is open 24/7…
It’s almost a shame that they decided to go with wide instead of tall.
I would be thrilled if this were a thing in my lifetime. I don’t have many problems, but the sense of security that i won’t need to put a fake tooth in later in life sounds great. Of course I also wonder how much this will end up costing, but if it’s just a shot I feel like it should cost less than a procedure to create molds and fake teeth and having them inserted right?
Edit: nevermind, after reading i see they need to grow the tooth outside your mouth then find a way to implant it still… sounds expensive lol.
I will say I had 1 time i needed it. It was my Samsung Odessey monitor. It supports freesync but I noticed when it was on there would be a slight flicker. Dealt with it for probably 2 years before looking into it. Low and behold online comments all said firmware fixed it. It worked, fixed it and now it’s been fantastic ever since. One of the only times an update on a screen did something amazing. It’s not the norm but the excception.
So we pay them to do this to us? I stopped putting tv’s on the internet once I realized it offered me nothing useful. Firmware is about it and if that’s the case I’ll either usb it or put it on the internet for 5 min to do the update. Even then Samsung sucks so much with firmware the release notes for every single update are “bug fixes and improvements”… thanks Samsung.
If I am forced to put it online or it comes up with a way to phone home on its own, I am done buying those kinds of tv’s, and I’m sure some other brand will offer one that doesn’t, even if it isn’t the best one to buy.
And here i am with my phone still stuck on 14… I know it was a short time between 15 and 16, but still, catch up a little bit! Honestly, my only complaint about Android. I am not a fan of the pixel series either.
Edit: Never mind! I decided to check for an update and found it was ready as of early May, but for some reason, my phone didn’t check. Installing now. Now to wait another 8 months for 16.
