Yeah, it’s a powerful comic. Very worth a read. The events Joe describes are absolutely abhorrent though. It’s hard for me to believe schools like that still exist, honestly.

From having read Joe Nobody’s comic about Elan, my guess is that the “students” (prisoners is probably more accurate) are categorized based on how “well-behaved” they are and only those who are high up in the program can talk to people lower down on the totem pole. At Elan, they had shotdowns, non-strength, strength, and high strength and it was something like anyone below strength could only talk to people categorized as strength or above, whereas strength and high strength had more freedom in terms of who they could talk to.

So perhaps this is elitist of me, but who the fuck uses notepad++? If you’re going to install a text editor that doesn’t come with your system, get one that doesn’t suck.
