Ooh I notice nobody has mentioned Wasteland 3 - it totally slipped under my radar, it is a fastastic RPG, with a fun story and good combat! :) It’s what I’d love fallout to be :)

My peavey modeling amp was very proud that it went up to 13! :}

I saw first sci-fi and thought ooooh “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep”… but, as much as it’s a great book… it is not positive by any means!

I am interested too, it’s been tricky to find positive sci-fi for me, and I’d love to read some. :)

My 1080 was okay with Linux Mint, no complaints, and performance is the same from what I can tell. :)

I just switched over to Mint from Windows 10 a month ago, and besides from setting up my quirky USB audio for music making, I was astonished as I rarely needed to look anything up. :)

Using DuckDuckGo helped I think, but presently, most of my questions I searched came back with forums with real people talking, which was lovely.

I remember trying this in 2010 and… nope, everything was a project, command lines everywhere, and it was a pig. I was very impressed this time, everything quietly worked. :) Even every steam game I threw at it, even ruddy GTA San Andreas, which never ran for me on Window 10!

The searches/sticking points I looked up were

• what the heck am I doing with partitions. (eventually nuked windows anyway)
• how do I get my specific USB audio card thingy to work.*
• how to mod fallout new vegas** (gave up and reinstalled on a windows pc, too many .exes)
• how to auto-mount a second hard drive for steam so I don’t have to click the disk every time I boot.

*there was actually a human-made guide for my usb audio when I searched on DuckDuckGo, which was made by an utter saint of a person!

** it ran fine, but I was in the middle of a save, so wanted to keep my mod loadout :)

Ooh for me that would be another “I know I should hear this but somehow haven’t!” :) looking forward to tomorrow already to see what’s next! :)

I do now! First album is Illmatic by Nas, and it’s been a good discovery so far :) I have a limited knowledge of hip-hop, so this is really cool to listen to! Thank you for the link to this :)

We have both… But having experienced migraines from american mountain dew, our idea of it is hampered by pesky things like banned additives.

On the upside I now don’t drink the UK edition as it tastes watered down in comparison! :)

Can’t vouch for cheetos as it’s been a while, but they exist here at least :)

Ugh that reminded me of getting “stuck” in Phoenix Wright 15 years ago because I didn’t have a microphone for my PC! What a disaster! That said, they did a steam remake, so that made me happy :)
