It’s kind of true. But so many places are replacing physical fax lines with VOIP or even just automatically sending the fax to email via a copier, it’s hardly more secure in my experience

I went with a p2000. I use plex, but I imagine usage would be similar. I’ve had 5 people using it at the same time transcoding 4k to 1080 with no issues. Good luck!

I would suggest for anyone who doesn’t like how slow and clunky Firefox is, to look into Ungoogled chromium. If you still decide to switch to Firefox, consider librewolf if you are ACTUALLY concerned about privacy and not just jumping on the bandwagon of hating Google ITT

Congrats on your first setup. I would recommend making sure you have fail2ban set up and test it. If you’re keeping anything important, get backups going… I worry for new self-hosters that may have a security issue and lose their hard work to a vulnerability.
