And you’re wearing jeans.
They are flimsier. Look up “fast fashion”.
Frequently buying new clothes is pushed on girls from multiple social and economic directions, including ones that really are conspiracies. For example, an industry working together (alongside partner industries) to make their clothes degrade faster so that they need to be replaced that much more often.
I bought shoes in the boys’ section pretty regularly, as a girl, until the boys’ shoe size growth dramatically outpaced girls’. So you could not shop in the men’s section because their smallest size is one half or one size (or more) above yours.
For me, it’s that they often say that they fit up to size 8, and I am a true 7.5 (as in, a 7 will not fit me and an 8 will not fit me).
Do I want socks that are a little tight or socks that are too big?
It’s worse with shoes, though, especially when you are looking at ones designed for a niche context. They will often not have half sizes at all. For example, I have wetsuit boots that are sizes 7 and 8. They both fit poorly. I can get the 7s on, but they are way too tight, and I slosh around in the 8s. I have water shoes in the same sizes. 7 is too small to put on and 8 flops off the back of my heel like a flip flop.
Show me wet socks in boots in the middle of a cold winter to win this contest.
This looks like a sad approximation of a cheesesteak.

The headline should probably highlight that it appears to be Korea selling the fuel they purchased from Japan.
Many/most behave as you say if you slightly press the handle up or down but will stay on if you give a firmer press. Maybe your friend was just an idiot?

The deal paves the way for “joint projects, exchanging experience and modern technologies, as well as deepening our strategic dialogue,” he added.
The agreement was originally signed in Kuwait City in March 2018, but only now has the Kuwaiti state finalized the domestic legal procedures required for its entry into force.
I see that Kuwait was happy to wait until the deal would benefit them directly. Still, good to see Ukraine making more “friends”.

My favorite quote from Annihilation:
Then, as a psychologist, I think you’re confusing suicide with self-destruction. Almost none of us commit suicide, and almost all of us self-destruct. In some way, in some part of our lives. We drink, or we smoke, we destabilize the good job…and a happy marriage. But these aren’t decisions, they’re…they’re impulses.

This article would be a lot better without all the social media garbage mixed in.

Even protesting by holding up a sign, signing a petition, or speaking up at a town hall meeting is “trying to influence the government”. Or lobbying.
*rolly polies. Much cuter.

No, they only lose their Y chromosome in a subset of cells.

Interesting–thanks for sharing.

No, but I occasionally give their recent history a quick glance to see if they are a troll/asshole.

You’re seriously complaining about large companies shuttling employees rather than having them drive? There are multiple companies in the city which do this and it’s a good thing.
Or a Jack Russell terrier that I could live with.
