Before both sides walked away. Both sides had shit that the other side wanted nothing to do with… and it mostly involved Russia insisting it be allowed to keep a sphere of influence (read puppet and slave states with no autonomy or say in their own affairs)

Russia will never abandon its imperialist ideology without a Nuremberg style purge

And NATO. in sight of that imperialist ambition. Wanted nothing to do with Russia. There was also the matter of Russia being a mobster state.

  • Fallout 3 was my introduction, if you dont count the time I tried to torrent the original fallout back in like 2005.

I like them all in different ways. But I honestly stopped caring about the lore and worldbuilding around the time of 4. It was clear it was becoming too much of a power fantasy and less about being a role playing game. T-45 on the first mission sequence? come on.

  • World War III started in 2022. Some argue it started as early as 2014 or 2008.

but there can be no question that it started in 2022 at the latest. Society has basically married the term WW3 to the idea of a nuclear holocaust, and because there arent nuclear weapons being used yet, many will deny its happening.

yet massive armies are on the move, the sides were drawn, and some of the armies have already started fighting. There’s over a million dead in Russia and Ukraine, thats officially a major conflict, and it shows no signs of stopping. If we could compare this to WW2, We’re no longer in the Spanish Civil War or Italian Africa phase, we’re in the Sino-Japanese phase. (China and Japan were at war in 1936. and that conflict was merged into what became known as WW2)

When I switched to a new CPU I got a bit locker message and it was one of my biggest computer scares ever. I couldn’t remember if the shop that assembled my pc would have enabled it or not. And wasn’t available to contact.

I had to take a risk. If I continued there was a 50 50 chance my shit would have been bricked. Thankfully. That shop had the foresight to NOT randomly enable features the client didn’t ask for
