1 year agoI hated tomatoes growing up. As an adult I realized it all comes down to the texture, my parents would always cut them with dull knives and manhandle them until they were all mushy. Cut them with sharp knives and keep them slightly firm and they’re suddenly 1000% better.
Can’t say I really buy the always pass on taxes idea. If a landlord could jack rent by $500 because they have to pay $500 more in taxes and people will pay it, then why not jack the price regardless of whether or not there’s a tax increase.
