New drives are more like 20€ per TB. Factor in redundancy with something like raid 5 and boom, off-site storage costs you a government toppling 20 000€ in hard drives.

I wouldn’t want my local crows to OD on ketamine
In my experience, it is not an issue. I turn the oven on when I want to start cooking and only then start gathering the items. By the time I want to stick something in the oven, it is already hot. Doesn’t work with frozen pizza tho

If you don’t have an oven with a fan/convection, then sure, get an additional appliance.
You can make stews, soups and other things one would use a slow cooker for by taking a stainless steel or some other not-made-of-plastic pot and sticking it in the oven

Rant about kitchen appliances:
People should learn to use the things they most probably already have in their kitchen.
slow cooker is just a tiny pot shaped low temperature oven with a timer
Air fryer is a tiny oven with a fan
Why do people get so hyped about a smaller and more limited version of the thing they already have? Just use your oven which most likely already has all these features. I haven’t seen an electric oven without a fan or without a timer in my lifetime

Ah, yes, lets generate more needless waste

Either that, or more realistically, the output of the company tanks during the summer. It’s ok because everyone expects most people to be on vacation during the summer time and everyone will just work around it.
Aaaand one of them is stuck in your skin

It is doable, but it is a pain if the docker requires any special config like permanent storage. Getting nginx up and running for mTLS was especially annoying

Truenas Scale works well as long as you don’t want any dockers on it. Once you want to run docker images it is easier to install a VM on Truenas and run the docker from there than it is to try to set up custom “Apps”

I remember making my own ringtone on the Nokia

Used to have a OnePlus Nord. Broke the screen 3 years after the phone released and there were no replacement parts anywhere, besides a single AliExpress seller. It didn’t make things better that they released multiple versions of the same model, most, if not all, had incompatible screens.
The screen protectors for both Nord and 8T were out of stock less than a year after the phones were released, never to be seen again.

Yeah, random lagging issues are bad. I used to have an older Sony Xperia, that one lagged for about 5-10 minutes every time you connected it to a charger. The poor lad had only 3GB of RAM.
The Fairphone isn’t perfect either, there have been some crashes and some UI glitches. The crashes happened less than once a month, but recently it seems like they have fixed the issue. UI glitches haven’t been anything major, usually something like notification popups layering on top of each other or apps being active while in the application overview menu. They go away once you lock your screen and unlock it again.

What are your use cases for the phone? I have the latest Fairphone and could help you out with some info
The real question is - is fuck Turing-complete?
They are fighting not only the symptoms, but also the root cause
