Exactly this. Tried Linux mint a while but everything was a hastle for me as a new user. Every program I wanted to install had a different method to do so. I ended up not much using the laptop where I installed it on. A pity, I love alternative software.
Nonetheless loved by its mommy. Love diversity 😁
There’s one on Lemmy.ml https://lemmy.ml/c/damnthatsinteresting It’s small at the moment.
I was supporting you. And showing as reference other pictures that the bird is actually that colored. I didn’t and still don’t see any problem with edits. Please continue sharing your awesome shots. Small edits are fully normal with ones pictures.
Thanks for the original photo. It’s a awesome shot of a wonderful bird 👍
Still not sure what you mean. The brightness of the colors changes alot according to the angle like you can see in videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlYecLQDaUM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDkeIVGmSA8

I read The Power of Habit - Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg
Not sure if it changed my life but when you mentioned your book about the seven habits of effective people I thought about this.
I think every once in a while about this habit self manipulation for your own advantage. Quite an interesting read for some though inspiration
Hmm that’s rather useless then. Thanks for the heads up
Does it have an option to add contacts with their birthdays?
Has anyone tried tutanota? I started checking a bit and anternativeto.net recommend me this when I asked for an alternative to Google calendar. https://alternativeto.net/software/tutanota/about/ From the description sounds like it has all that’s needed. I just wouldn’t need the email account linked to it.
I second this big time. I’ve been looking for some good online calendar as well that is probably protected. Long time ago I used borg calender. Simple but unfortunately only offline.
Thanks. Do you know the history of that?
