It’s technically correct, as far as I’ve read (not an expert!). Just because the police own a limited subset of the data and their copy is deleted after 30 days doesn’t prevent flock from stockpiling all the data permanently. It also doesn’t stop Flock from having a separate contract, entirely unrelated of course, giving the police access to FlockOS. That platform has all sorts of data from all available sources.

Completely agree. There’s plenty of issues everywhere, but they’re not all fascist and fascism isn’t the cause of every issue. To ascribe everything to fascism is simultaneously boiling things down to black and white thinking and dilutes the meaning of fascism.

LLMs don’t “create”. Under the hood, they’re tokenizing the queries, looking for “clouds” of tokens that are similar to the query, then returning a sequence of tokens (with some random noise thrown in) that match what their training data says the answer should be.

In short: all LLM code is an amalgamation of their training data by definition. If there’s nothing similar in there, it’s literally not possible for it to be part of any response.

Maybe it was a mistake to try and use natural language for this kind of job, it’s too fuzzy and interpretable. Maybe we need a new language, one with a much stricter syntax and no room for interpretation. If you make it simple enough, and use some natural language for important keywords, shouldn’t be too difficult to learn.

I am not quite in that demographic but getting pretty close. I’ve bought maybe a game a year for a very long time now. Most non-indie stuff is complete and utter trash. If I see a AAA publisher logo, I take it as a sign that it’s not worth my time or money.

Vast majority of people think in some combination of words, images, speech and concepts but most people have a “primary” thinking method. For fairness here, tarrifs can be beneficial and useful when specifically targeted at industries which you can compete globally in with commensurate subsidies. In other words, universal tarrifs is the same as shooting your own nuts off, but targeted tarrifs can be helpful in growing specific industries you can grow.

All tarrifs are paid by the population of the country doing the tarrifing, but when it’s well thought out and specifically targeted it can be a good thing.

Foundry VTT is amazing. Been running Kingmaker for almost 2 years on it with the official module (very slow pace, 1-2 sessions a month). I’d argue it’s basically mandatory if you’re serious about online TTRPGs.
