People don’t like being told they’re wrong. Especially on their own stuff. Kind suggestions to a neighbor will go better than just unsolicited blocking their trailer. Imagine them hitching up within hours of this picture being taken, start to drive off and then damage their trailer coming off makeshift blocks that you so graciously put there without their consent.

But that also doesn’t translate. If the moment the photon is created (from whatever reaction that caused the light source), to the moment it hit the person’s eyes had no time pass (nothing in the universe moved) then it would be instantly created and observed by the observer. But the moment the switch turns on and the moment the photon hits the observer (as miniscule as this distance is) the eye of the observer has moved from A: switch goes on to B: observed.
Yeah no time passes for the photon I guess, but the universe still moved around the photons travel.

And while I agree that the use of my lawn and driveway are not a good use of space, it’s just not practical to have a homestead like the one shown in our current suburb. Which is what I’m assuming the 1/10th of a lot of land will be in. Because if you’re anywhere in a rural area that can have a plot laid out in this style you’ll most likely also be working on more than a tenth of an acre.
I mean ripping up a concrete driveway in a suburb isn’t exactly prudent.
My home is on a 9k lot. Almost twice the size of this but I can’t fit anything near that. I guess majority of my space is take up by the front lawn and driveway.
I use PayPal mastercard but that’s run by synchrony? Is this part of PayPal’s problems?

How did that impact you? For me as a union electrician that meant members sitting for upwards of 2 years, with over 1500 people unemployed on the books in my local hall.
Right now there’s 800, most since 2008 recession, never going above 300 or so since then. I don’t know what a recession means for anyone else, but for me it’s not having a job and income. But this one is worse, because while the pay is more since 2008, everything costs triple since then.

You think most of us want it like this? What do you want us to do? Organize? Do you know how much the system has been built against that? Against a voice? Against acting out? Its a grinding slog out there, if you want to make your voice heard you basically need to make a career out of it, or have a lot of money to be able to organize.
I think there’s more in the second panel for me. The conversation can continue and I’m still battling trying to retcon my introduction somehow because who tf says howdy. It derails my focus for the next minute of conversation. But I’m also paying attention so everything added to the conversation is piled on top of that and how I respond next needs to fit the flow of conversation and if I want to fix the weirdness of how I introduced myself…
