Sure, but the comment you were replying to was talking about people using the free version of sync. They didn’t say people are cheapskates because they don’t want to pay for an app they don’t use.

There are lots of people out there that use sync, have always been unhappy with certain things and want certain things and aren’t happy to pay for the app - in the reddit days at least. I’m sure they will be here for the lemmy app too. It’s those people I took the comment to be directed at.

Whether or not this is passive aggressive, it sounds like it is, which makes you come off as an asshole, so maybe work on that :)
