There are. Also, progressivism, robber barons, gilded age. Unfortunately, a world war might follow. Then, a red scare, unionization and a New Deal. History is literally repeating. The unknown variable is climate change.

Other unknown variable imho, is nuclear weaponary, which made it impossible to continue WW2. We haven’t seen or experienced a “hot” war between nuclear nations since that’s been possible. (Though I imagine climate change makes nuclear confrontation more likely, albeit probably indirectly.)

My bet is an India/ China tactical nuclear exchange over Kashmir. I really don’t know why, just a feeling. So take it with a grain of salt 🧂

Huh. Legitimately never even thought about that possibility. Maybe it’s just post cold-war conditioning combined with the Ukraine shit, but I totally just assumed the ones to instigate would be USA/Russia.

Don’t know why I thought that. China and India do both have nukes and they fucking hate each other.

Not a global expert by any means, but the first war over water is on the horizon. Egypt and Ethiopia will go to war over a damn dam on their border. The deal they’re making won’t last.

Missed the depression after red scare. Then you need a second red scare after the Second World War, which comes after new deal.
