Since my last update I have been working on getting a manual wheelchair I can stand from, and the determination is grim but not impossible. First, it needs to be stated, no one, at least through insurance, is able to take on my needs. This also means that no major/national manufacturer will make a chair at seat to floor height that I can use. I will need to get a chair custom built, that not only handles my weight, but my standing limitation as well; this, I have been told, will run to the minimum of 3k. I know I’ve asked a lot in regards to this move fund… and I know a wheelchair seems an odd thing to be able to accomplish a move… but in reality it will be the only way for me to accomplish it without hiring transport, which would be more expensive with how things are going currently.
Bleak.
