When he died and I inherited them, I found out that he’d opened every single one. And the collection was missing the only issue I cared about, which had an interview with one of my childhood heroes. I tried everything I could think of to sell these magazines, and eventually ended up with all the boxes in the trunk of my car as I drove around to various adult stores, asking if they’d purchase them. Eventually, I took all of them to a non-profit that takes media donations, sells them, and then gives the profits to the public library system.
