No! You have to simmer the chili until it thickens! Adding thickener just means the flavor is less concentrated.

Maybe if you’re eating it by scooping the chili up with corn chips. Maybe as a topping?
Now you’re thinking with bean goo. The starch is good for emulsifying cheese too, so you can make a chili queso dip!
The problem with the church chili is they don’t give you any corn chips. You get a plastic spoon.
