While white Americans take up the lions share of explicit socialists

The reasons are purely demographic and the result of state anti-communtist suppression disproportionately targeting explicit POC socialists, and there are simply more white people, so the explicit socialists amongst them tend to make up the majority of any socialist grouping

Which triggers the social reality of de facto self-segregation (85% of white Americans do not associate in anyway, shape or form with non-white peoples) a white person joins an org, 85% of their friends are white and they join etcetera, that cascades across demographic cohorts and since they’re a majority most spaces get hit with the white ray gun

Then there’s the added danger of being an explicit POC socialist, white socialists may receive a “race traitor” asterisk on their whiteness card and be vulnerable to state repression

But POC socialists are far more likely to end up in the back of a trunk with bullet holes in it or in prison over trumped up charges, there’s simply no room for error

POC and marginalized groups, as much as they are distinct, usually are mostly working class people on average, and while I can’t speak for marginalized groups like those with disabilities, of lower caste, or of gender identities, I can say for sure EM POC (Global South) have usually been ones at the forefront of the international revolutionary socialist movement.
