I’m trying to think of the last big breasted horror icon that people took seriously, and I can only think of Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil.
But whether it’s Hollywood or video games, creators and the audience don’t seem to believe big breasted women are capable of being evil, angry, traumatized, lonely, regretful, guilty, or any of the other reasons to haunt the earth.
Every ghost and demon is either a petite woman, an old person, a child, or just a guy.
That’s a good point. Although children are also exploited and simultaneously considered pure and innocent, yet those traits are subverted in horror whereas large breasts are mostly ignored. And thanks for the link, I’ll take a look at that today
