They’re also pretty verbose. They won’t say in two sentences what they can say in three. They’re just built like that.
I think this is quite a big one. Because these AIs are built to please middle managers and wealthy people who do nothing, their one core skill is looking on the surface to be saying or doing significantly more than they really are. They’re deliberately trained to output as much as possible that looks contain meaning, but actually has nothing of substance.
