Founder and CEO Tatiana Kim claimed that Wildberries entrepreneurs in Russia and partner countries, including China and Kazakhstan, had "suffered losses amounting to billions."
I can understand saying they’re not liable for losses due to force majeure, but I’m surprised she directly said people should wait for the Russian government to do something. Maybe there’s something in the works or I’m reading too much into it, but that seems a bit like actually placing the blame where it belongs.
From what I’ve read, there seems to be a lot of anger among Russians at their government for slow-walking the war and trying to compromise with the west. Also this is an election year so everyone will be pressuring the government to do stuff they want.
Most Russians do not really care about the war and the Russian media has generally portrayed the situation positively - they’re taking land, stop 99.99999999% of drones, the sanctions do nothing, etc. Until comparatively recently, you could live your life as though it wasn’t happening at all. Maybe you’re talking about people on telegram but they’re a tiny minority.

People don’t pressure the government in Russia.
