Researchers believe the association between navigation-heavy work and lower Alzheimer’s risk centers on the hippocampus, a part of the brain that governs memory and spatial navigation. It’s one of the first brain regions that Alzheimer’s damages: Problems with spatial navigation and orientation are among the earliest signs of the disease, sometimes surfacing before obvious memory loss.

I wish more games used proper diegetic design to convey stuff instead of relying so much on HUDs all the time.
Saaaaaammmme. I like how Ghost of Tsushima has in world environmental cues to find collectibles so you can still find them without having all the marks on the map, not sure if you can turn off your own location on the map but I love when games do that too. I really liked the realistic world map mod for Skyrim along with another mod that adds loads of road signs.
Oh I gotta try that on Skyrim when the unavoidable urge to redownload and mod it to hell and back arises again October, I don’t know why it happens in October, but it’s like that every years like clockwork.
I mean it is a good seasonally wintery game.
I recommend using the in-world fast travel points like the horse carriages and the boats, you can also cheat a bit here and there if you forgot to pick something small up, Skyrim without the HUD is pretty good
Enjoyed the quite a lot about the Gothic remake. No hud and until you aquire one you don’t even have a map.
Cool, I didn’t know Gothic Remake was like that, I’ll keep it in my radar for when it goes on a good sale.
I always liked the way dead soace used the lights on isaac’s back to convey information
Yeah that one is super cool, I still have to play Dead Space, but that to me is one of the coolest parts of this game’s discourse for me.
Witcher 3 was really good with that too. I still remember the road layouts around the major cities.
