I’ve seriously (idly) considered it before and here are the three reasons I decided against it:
Seems counterproductive. Right wing evangelism spreads the enemy’s ideology, so engaging in it even as an act of subterfuge still helps the other side.
Ethics: Right wing propagandists all earn themselves a spot in Hell. “I was helping the enemy in order to grift the enemy and funnel that money to good causes” is not a strong defense.
Effectiveness and odds of success: For every 10 ridiculously wealthy right wing propagandists out there, there are probably 1000 (numbers I’m COMPLETELY MAKING UP) small time right wing propagandists who don’t make it big. Odds are that the grift will just be helping the enemy without even getting much money to use against the enemy.
