No I am not speaking of morality whatsoever. I’m speaking of self-defense. Killing those who attempt to kill you is valid and correct course of action from a purely strategic perspective. It is strategically correct for everyone in the global south to seek to kill American soldiers whenever possible. Your handwringing over it is the moralizing because you likely have some friends or family in the military that distorts your thinking and creates a pro-western bias that you have not yet examined.
