I dunno if it’s just my app (boost), but I really dislike comments with links where I have no idea if I’m going to be shown an image, a web page, or my YouTube app forcibly opened and some random video added to my history and my algorithm duly updated.
It’s your app. Showing me the domain linked is the bare minimum I expect from a client.
For me short press opens the link directly, long press shows the link and context options.
