Religious people usually get someone else’s child alone before attempting to indoctrinate them. So is that them acknowledging that what they are attempting is akin to raping a child?

If religion is like a penis, why can religion be shown in public, but when when I do it, cops show up?

Isn’t it awfully nice to have a penis? Isn’t it frightfully good to have a dong? It’s swell to have a stiffy, It’s devine to own a dick. From the tiniest little tadger To the world’s biggest prick! So three cheers for your willy or John Thomas. Hooray for your one-eyed trousers snake. Your piece of pork, your wife’s best friend, Your Percy or your cock. You can wrap it up in ribbons, You can slip it in your sock. Don’t take it out in public, Or they will put you in the dock … And you won’t come back. (—Monty Python)

I love the Dowager Countess. And I love Maggie Smith.

This is one of my favorite lines from the entire show. :)

If Dame Maggie Smith actually says that, she’s even cooler than I thought she was, which was already a considerable amount

Unfortunately I don’t believe she does, the closest thing I could find was “Principles are like prayers. Noble of course. But awkward at a party.”

Another is that you should keep it private and not try to force it on children.

Interpretation of religion is like an butthole. Everyone has one of their own, it’s not okay for you to go around and show it to people who didn’t ask for it, and if you make it your personality you are an asshole.
