My Samsung TV isn’t connected, so it’s dumb but also passive aggressive. The input banner on the screen says “crime zone” when the internal source is selected.

I think it’s only a matter of time before TV manufacturers start disabling the TVs if they can’t connect periodically. Or they’ll start shipping them with SIM cards.
I bought my tv at a store last year. Ill throw it through their window if this shit happens. Mine has never been connected to the internet and is in demo mode.
