Moscow carries out information attacks not only on European countries - Ukraine also constantly suffers from these attacks. In this way, Moscow wants to break the willpower of Ukrainians.
The main tactic of the Russian media is to deliberately distort the facts, exaggerate technical delays in the exchange process and present them as deliberate sabotage by Ukraine. In particular, allegations are being spread about Kyiv’s alleged reluctance to return the bodies of dead servicemen, about thousands of bodies that have not yet been delivered to Ukraine, and about the “inaction” of official bodies. A number of “marginal pro-Russian information platforms in Europe” have also been included in the campaign, in particular, the Hungarian Magyar Nemzet and Magyar Hírlap, the Czech website CZ24.news, the Slovak Jednotné Slovensko, and the French-language Réseau International. Their task is to relay Kremlin narratives.
The culminating moment, according to the Foreign Intelligence Service forecasts, will be the publication of falsified lists of allegedly identified dead Ukrainians - both military and civilians. Thus, Moscow is trying to provoke panic in Ukrainian society. On June 14, as part of the next stage of the prisoner exchange after the agreements between Ukraine and the aggressor country, Russia, seriously wounded and seriously ill Ukrainian servicemen returned to Istanbul. On June 12, 10, and 9, Ukraine and the aggressor country also exchanged prisoners of war. Seriously ill and wounded defenders, servicemen under the age of 25, as well as defenders who were considered missing returned to Ukraine.
