Opinia24, commissioned by Radio Zet, conducted a study to find out who Poles thought would be a better president in a crisis situation: the KO candidate for this office, Rafał Trzaskowski, or the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski. Respondents were asked four questions.
The first one concerned war. 25% answered that in case Russian attack on Poland, Sikorski would be a better president. Trzaskowski received 14%, 31% answered that neither of them would cope, and 16% that each would cope the same. “I don’t know/hard to say” - this was the answer given by 14% of respondents.
PiS voters surprised: An interesting result for the above question can be noted in the case of groups of supporters of specific political parties. In the scenario of a possible attack by Russia on Poland, KO supporters bet on Sikorski (35%), Trzaskowski receives 24%, and 35% believe that they would cope the same.
In the case of PiS voters, only 4% indicated Trzaskowski, 18% would choose Sikorski, 21% believed that both would cope the same, and as many as 31% that neither would cope.
Refugees: “Who would cope better as president in the event of a Ukrainian disaster and a mass influx of refugees to Poland?” - this is the next question. 18% indicated Sikorski, and 14% Trzaskowski. 21% answered that both would cope the same, and 31% that neither would cope. 17% had no opinion. The third question concerned who would be a better president in the event of an economic crisis in Europe. Here, too, Sikorski wins (15%). 13% indicated Trzaskowski, 20% answered that each would cope the same, and 35% that neither would cope. 16%. has no specific view.
