According to the Electoral Code, the National Electoral Commission, based on the results established in the voting protocol, shall establish the result of the elections for the President of the Republic of Poland by means of a resolution. The Commission is obliged to immediately forward the resolution to the Marshal of the Sejm and the acting President, and also to the newly elected President. On Wednesday, during the ceremony at the Royal Castle, Karol Nawrocki received the resolution from the head of the National Electoral Commission Sylwester Marciniak. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak and Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak. Also present were members of the National Electoral Commission, the newly elected President and his wife, as well as, among others, PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, head of the PiS parliamentary club Mariusz Błaszczak and former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawicki.
