Is this not good, does it not mean we have moved past the population growth boom and to a more stable population.
In fact less humans would be better for basically everyone, Earth included, except people that need more people to fuel their greed. Look at the black plague and how that brought prosperity afterwards.
We have enough resources to give everyone a decent standard of living. This has been shown in published journals. It’s not lavish, but we could sustain everybody on earth. The problem is the parasites at the top; the problem is capitalism, capital accumulation, and the profit motive.
