    Guess he figured that as long as we’re just saying things and posturing, we might as well say good things.

    The authors seem to go to great lengths to explain how Puerto Rico is really really not an oppressed internal colony. Sure, 57% voted for statehood and over 30% support independence. But how many support the unshakeable status quo? If you do the math, it’s 13% or less, but these authors would have you think that it’s the will of the majority.

    And never mind how support for pro-independence parties is at an all-time high. I’m sure the MSM will derail those observations with the usual platitudes about them being “unreasonable”, “authoritarian”, “corrupt”, take your pick.
