    freeing 19 sharks

Trump pardoning divers for killing 19 sharks I would understand due to Trump’s hatred of sharks. But why this???

I just realized that I was using logic and not Gold-plated Quality Trump Logic. By that logic - freeing the two divers makes perfect sense because the sharks will cause untold suffering, misery, and death. Trump probably thinks every shark in the ocean can grow to be a 25 foot long “killing machine” like the one he saw in Jaws.

Federal prosecutors later charged the men with theft. Officials said the line actually belonged to a fisherman licensed by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration to catch sharks for research.

Everyone out here giving Trump the benies of the doubties maybe just for once he cared about animal welfare or supporting our sea comrades in their protracted undersea struggles against the hords of human wave attacks by FloriKKKa against the fishery citizens but no he only did this because something something Biden.

Honestly though even given that, I don’t feel like they should be charged with theft. Give them a slap on the wrist and say “Ask if people have permits first next time”

It’s a minor annoyance, not theft.
