They NEED an out group. They need someone to hate. It started with the blacks, then it was the gays. Now it’s us. They need someone to blame for their mistakes.
Because we are the boogeyman. A small enough minority that they can demonize us with little repercussions and use that demonization to enact other horrible things.
I checked into this today and the current status is that this version of the bill doesn’t have enough support thank goodness. however neither does the other version of the bill so ppl still lose this cushion. so now we go back to waiting days or weeks for the next attack on gender affirming care of a federal level. they won’t stop trying to take away our ability to safely transition so we have to keep fighting. stay safe siblings <3
