I don’t disagree, but I also do very much appreciate a verbose tagging system (tumblr, e6, etc). Makes it easier to find what you’re looking for, alongside giving people warning.

I’m sorry. I agreed from the perspective of being disturbed by watching spaces becoming increasingly closed off (Such as clasic Pixar films no longer permitting comments on YouTube), not from an angle of wanting to genuinely return to the kinds of communities that the internet used to be composed of.

I do agree with you on tagging, I only wished to express a desire for a larger amount of tags for disambiguity, but clearly I clearly hadn’t considered that in doing so, I was making the space unsafe for you.

I am sincerely sorry for not working to accomodate your concerns. I’ll exercise more caution in future and hope that this hasn’t too harshly soured your perspective on what is, from what I can see as a visitor, a generally pleasant community.
I think tagging is a wonderful system and a great kindness posts can perform for the sake of others, but that kind is a choice and lack thereof is not inherently problematic. The absence of kindness is not meanness, it’s neutrality.

I just want to be considerate, and it gets hard when the tags are black and white, instead of allowing for depth.
